UPPER AND LOWER LAGUNA MADRE
The Laguna Madre located in the Corpus Christi, Texas is where most fishing is done and where Captain Steve has extensive knowledge of the bay area, and the waterways and the out-of-the-way 'local' fishing hot-spots. In the summer time the waters of Baffin Bay, The Landcut, Upper Laguna Madre, and Corpus Christi Bay are prime fishing areas for Spotted [Speckled] Trout, Redfish, and Flounder using live bait such as Croaker or Piggy Perch. Fall and winter fishing heats up in Corpus Chrisit with main catches of Black Drum, Redfish, and Spotted Trout caught mainly on artificial lures.
AMAZING BAFFIN BAY
The rocks of famous Baffin Bay are excellent fishing grounds. Baffin Bay touts 2 records for Spotted [Speckled] Trout. Baffin Bay is located along the King Ranch on North shoreline, Kenedy Ranch on South shoreline. Apart from being a first-class fishing spot it is also known for its serpulid worm reefs. These unique rock formations began 3000 years ago and continued until 300 years ago. Drifting over these rock formations through clear blue water is a sight to see. A huge trout breaking out of those waters is out of this world!
